by 3 Sanyo LCXT3 10K video projectors on a 7.5 X 30' RP screen,
hung way downstage. Upstage scaff towers will have parcans and
wiggle lights to light up the punters and provide backlighting
effects on the band. The upstage curtain is lit via LED strip
lights. The two downstage scaffold towers have parcans for audience
lighting and wiggle lights for the mirrorballs. The downstage truss
will have lekos, color changers, and two wiggle lites.
Scaffold can be placed on wheels to facilitate the set up and
strike. Edge blending, IMAG? It can be done. It just depends on the
budget.
This design continues my tradition of dark and scary, yet highly
saturated. The idea behind this design is that you see the scaffold,
the wires, projectors, and kak. It's like seeing behind the curtain.
This design is good for bands with lot's o'gear because the backline
becomes part of the set and the look.
